Statement of Faith

We Believe... Scriptures

The Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, is what we accept as our guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine. The Word is the divine and final authority for our Christian life.

We Believe... Godhead

There is one God, the creator of all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We Believe... Sanctification

We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit. We believe in personal holiness and purity of heart and life.

We Believe... Man-Fall and Redemption

Man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin, which resulted in his spiritual death and separation from God. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. This process of regeneration, referred to as being "born again" in the Word, takes place through a combination of faith and confession.

We Believe... Water Baptism

Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. It is not to be confused with regard as a means of salvation. The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for justification and salvation.

We Believe... Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Every believer should be filled with the gift of the Holy Spirit, with speaking in tongues as the initial physical evidence. The present day ministry of the Holy Spirit is to comfort and guide the believer. During this age, He indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers the believer for Godly living and service.

We Believe... Resurrection of the Just

and Return of Jesus Christ

Then the angel said, "This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." We believe that Jesus Christ will come in the air to resurrect the righteous dead and catch away the living saints; He will then come to the earth to establish his physical kingdom, and bring His thousand-year reign.

We Believe... Hell and Eternal Retribution

Hell is a real place. Those who die without receiving Jesus as their Savior will be eternally lost without further opportunity to hear the Gospel or to repent.

We Believe... Healing

Healing is God acting by the power of the Holy Spirit, causing the human body to be healed and delivered from sickness. Our lives can be prosperous and healthy in every realm as we walk in the light of this redemption by faith in God's word.

We Believe... Communion

Communion shows the Lord's death till He comes. The bread symbolizes His broken body. The cup represents the new covenant in His blood which provides us forgiveness and a relationship with God.
